NYK Line

NYK Line (Nippon Yusen Kaisha) is the biggest Japanese shipping company.

The company was found in 1885. During the history of more than 120 years, the main priority and the basic direction of activity of the company are operations both high-quality cargo and passengers transportations by sea.

Starting from September 2004, our company was awarded by honour to represent Japanese shipping container line NYK Line in Ukraine.

The company operates more than 700 vessels, has 33000 employees in different countries of the world. Containers terminals, warehouses, logistics centers of NYK are located in Asia, Europe and North America. The financial turnover of the company in 2005 was $15 billons. World rating of NYK in different scopes of shipping activity:

  • 10th — containers shipping and operations;
  • 1st — RO-RO shipping;
  • 3rd — bulk carriers;
  • 3rd — tankers and LGC transportations.

Cargo release conditions are based on:

  • Full set of original bills of lading, dully endorsed (stamped and signatures on back side) by consignee;
  • The order of the shipper with complete details of the nominated consignee- for those cases when consignee is “to order”;
  • Letter of attorney from consignee (for forwarding company nomination).
