June, 09: Yesterday in Odessa the international conference for professionals in freight forwarder and logistics area «International Freight Forwarder s Day» has opened.
May, 19: 08.05.09 the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine had been co-ordinated joint order of the State Customs Service of Ukraine and the State Comitee Concerning Business of Ukraine «About the statement of licence conditions of realisation of intermediary activity of the customs broker» and is directed on the state registration to the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine.
May, 18: Amount of container ships put on laid up multiplied in April-May. It is related to falling of container handling volumes in the largest ports of Asia, America and Europe. But fleet reduction has not resulted in stopping of freight rates falling.

April, 06: The letter from 30.03.09 № 11/1–10.9/2813 the State Customs Service of Ukraine has again established the requirement of the equipment videocameras in bonded warehouses. Now cameras should function without fail on warehouses of open type, and on warehouses of the terminated type presence of cameras will allow to spend cargo operations without presence of the employee of customs.
March, 31: As part of the National Maritime Rating of Ukraine Black Sea Shipping Service Ltd. is declared Freight Forwarder 2008 for the largest number of containers processed in Ukraine`s seaports in 2008.
March, 25: The State Customs Service of Ukraine informs that the time extra charge to the entrance duty is cancelled on all groups of the goods, except 8418 (refrigerators) and 8703 (cars) (Letter dd. 24.03.09 # 11/1–10.21/2619). The Ministry decree becomes effective with 00:00 hours 25.03.09.
March, 20: Considering close commercial relations between Ukraine and Turkey, in Istanbul the new representation of company BSSS — BSSS Transport and Trade Ltd has opened. Its contacts can be found on a site in section the Contact information.
We hope that opening of the Istanbul office will strengthen company BSSS position in the transport-forwarding market of the countries of the Black Sea pool!
March, 05: Since March, 1st order of the State Customs Service of Ukraine № 1334 is excellent from 26.11.08, agrees which since December, 8th all customs broker firms in Ukraine should were to acquire in SCS the new Certificate for the right of realisation of customs broker activity. Thus, since Monday customs brokers remained out of a legal field.
March, 04: Since March, 1st new edition of the Instruction of filling of a cargo customs declaration has come into force. Its basic innovations — initiating at registration of import cargoes of Electronic Invoice and simplifications for the LCL-cargoes.
